1997 Andrés Marvi – Spruce & Brazilian Rosewood

A rare and powerful instrument from luthier Andrés Marvi, this 1997 concert classical guitar features a spruce top with Brazilian rosewood back and sides a combination that has only deepened and matured with age. The spruce top has truly opened up over the decades, producing a guitar of remarkable power, projection, and responsiveness. This is a loud, fantastic guitar in every sense.

Condition: There is a repaired crack on the top running from the bridge to the end, and finish wear on the back consistent with years of serious playing. These are the marks of a guitar that has been played and loved by a musician structurally sound and fully stable.

This instrument is best suited for a very skilled concert player who has the technique and sensitivity to explore its full depth. It rewards the player who can really dig in.
