About Mill Valley Guitars
Mill Valley Guitars is a by-appointment showroom dedicated to fine classical, flamenco, and select acoustic guitars. The collection is carefully curated for tonal quality, craftsmanship, condition, and musical character, with an emphasis on instruments suited to serious players, collectors, and professionals.
Each guitar is evaluated individually for sound, playability, and long-term stability before being offered. Many instruments are sourced from private collections and are chosen not for volume or trend, but for musical substance and integrity. The showroom operates by appointment to provide a quiet, focused environment where instruments can be experienced without pressure or distraction.
We also offer guitar lessons in classical, jazz, flamenco, and beginner lessons.
About David Trevors
Mill Valley Guitars is curated by David Trevors, a professional musician, educator, and longtime lover of fine guitars. With decades of experience performing, teaching, and working closely with luthiers and collectors, David brings a practical, musician-centered perspective to every instrument offered. David holds a bachelor's and Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. He also studied with Hubert Kappell in Germany at the Koblenz Guitar Academy.
His background as a performer informs a careful attention to tone, balance, responsiveness, and real-world playability.
David works directly with clients to help match instruments to individual needs, repertoire, and artistic goals. He is a
modern day "Musical Matchmaker" passionate about helping clients find their perfect instrument to expressive themselves.
