Kenny Hill began building guitars in the mid-1970s and was awarded one of the first California Arts Council grants to an individual artist for his work as a builder and guitarist. Over five decades, his instruments have been played on major concert stages by world-class guitarists including Chen Xi and Emmanuel Rossfelder.
